WhatsApp is adding more new features to its service over the time. Initially, the service was only about instant messaging and file sharing among our friends and family. No free voice calling or sharing Documents were available earlier. Later, the features also added to use. Now that we are hoping to get WhatsApp Video calling feature that will allow us to make video calls for free of cost. Every new feature comes to action with a WhatsApp update. With the recent WhatsApp update, Video call feature also added to the app.
As the instant messaging app is supported with cross-platform, regardless of the type of device you are using, you may make video calls via WhatsApp for free of cost. The only thing you will need to make a video call is a stable internet connection. To make a complete video call, the user on the other side you are calling to also have to maintain an internet connection during the call. Otherwise, the call can not take place with one-sided effort.
WhatsApp Video Calling Feature:
WhatsApp video calling feature let you make video call to your friends or family who is using the same App and feature. However, to get this feature activated, one should make sure their device meet the minimum system requirements such as Android OS version 4.1 or newer, Windows phone 8.1 or newer, and iOS 8.0 or newer. In case you device don not meet the system requirement, placing a video call won’t be successful. Reminding you of the internet connection, a stable internet connection is highly recommended for WhatsApp video calling.
Without a good internet connection, video calling via WhatsApp won’t be any useful as video and voice quality during the call would be interrupted or unclear. In case you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, the video calling quality depends on the data speed of your network and the signal of the wireless network.
As mentioned earlier, in order to make a video call, both users on the two sides must have the video calling feature and a stable network connection. If one or other fail to meet the minimum requirement, the video calling experiences won’t be much comfortable. In case you haven’t activated the WhatsApp video calling feature, I will guide to get this done.
